Hyatt in Maui

Does anyone have prior experience at this resort?  We are making final decisions this weekend and I'm still unsure of whether we should book the Hyatt or the Westin in Maui.  Thoughts?

Re: Hyatt in Maui

  • I stayed there and loved it!!! Would definately go back!
  • Sorry, that was at the Hyatt! Luau there is phenominal, amazing spa, beautiful grounds and nice room!
  • We are staying at the Hyatt in three islands for our honeymoon.  Our travel agent got us an amazing deal and the Sheraton was a whole star level down they said and only saved us $50 a night. They have been to the Hyatt's on Kauai, Maui, and Oahu and said they are amazing.  I'll trust them since they are practically family. :)

The Westin in Maui is really nice, and its in a great location. There is also the Westin Ka'anapali Resort  just a little further down the road. It was awesome. I think they started as time shares so they have a kitchen and washer/ dryer. Great if you are going for a longer period of time.
I don't have any personal experience with the Hyatt.
    Good luck!

  • My parents stayed at the Hyatt on Maui last February and had nothing but good things to say.  Have you read reviews of both hotels on Trip Advisor?
