Honeymoon Help!

We're wanting to do a honeymoon where we could drive to. We're on an extreme budget and flight tickets (unless they're $99 roundtrip) are just out of the question right now. We both have agreed that we want the beach (white sands and clear water). Any suggestions for the states within driving distance?

    It would help to know the following:

    - how much you actually have to spend
    - how far you are willing to drive
    - how long you want to go for
    - when you are going.

    I'm assuming you are in the Atlanta area. Charleston SC is lovely, has history, cobblestone streets, some of the outer islands are on the water.

    In Florida, I personally loved Sanibel Island, very tropical, the beaches are crushed white shells.......on the Gulf side

    We've narrowed it down to Destin, FL..... Which is about 6hours for us. I just don't know where in Destin. We want a combo of relaxation and activities to do as well. We're wanting to be there at least 5days/4nights. We're both just dying to get to a beach but going to an island is out of the budget right now.....Any ideas?
