Hey everyone! My husband and I recently returned from our honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach. We stayed from 10/4-10/14. It was honestly everything we dreamed of and more. The staff are beyond pleasant and attentive. We did not want anything. My husband freaked out because he forgot his nail clipper and will not bite or cut his nails, and our concierge went on her own time and got him one, and did not ask for money for it. The food was really good. The portions were not huge, but you had 3 courses, so honestly the portions wind up being perfect. We did not have a bad meal, and we are pretty picky. There are vegetarian options available at pretty much all of the restaurants, although we are both meat eaters. The service was above par, and they were bringing us another drink before we finished the first. They are extremely accomodating, as they were to us and other couples we have spoken with. My husband complained about noisy neighbors, and they moved us to a penthouse suite, with a huge bed and jacuzzi on the balcony. The room service was also awesome, 24 hours and they will bring you food and whatever you want to drink. All staff members smiled and always replied with "It is my pleasure." We felt safe and at home. We did not want to leave. To those of you that have already booked Secrets, you will not be disappointed, and to those of you considering, do it. My husband and I have been to quite a few all-inclusives and the food, look and service, as well as staff beat the others by a landslide. Just wanted to share our great experience. We had an awesome time and cannot wait to go for our anniversary.
