my fiance and i are looking for an all-inclusive honeymoon spot.
we like a mix of relaxation and activity (love to hike, but also love to lay on the beach.) we love an active night life too. we would be interested in adult-only locations.

any ideas?

try resorts in mexico--the cancun and playa del carmen area in the maya riviera have plenty of affordable AI adult only resorts. they are quite popular because of these reasons and will therefore have some what of a night life.

there are tons of adventures to go on in this area--mayan ruins, Xcarat eco tourism park, zip lining, scuba diving, etc, and GREAT beaches in the area.  We are staying at the Secrets Resort that is adults only and AI and has a great honeymoon package.

the best thing to do i think would be contact a travel agent and tell them what you want.  they can give you the best recommendations.  i used jennifer at vip travel.  good luck!

The Carribean also has a ton of these! Good luck!

My fiance and I recently booked our honeymoon in Riveria Maya. We were able to get a KILLER deal at an all inclusive adults only resort. Everyone I know who has done all inclusive said it is the way to go, because you don't have to worry about paying for anything, and allows for maximum relaxation.
If you see a travel agent, ask about insurance. For about 70 bucks a person, my fiance and I got the insurance. This covers the obvious, like the hotel burning down, but also includes some nice perks. For example, I can call and check every few weeks, and if the price/special being run at our resort is cheaper than what we booked, we get our money back. If another (and better) resort ends up with a better price for the same dates, we can switch at no extra cost. I would totally recommend the extra 100 or so bucks.
