Car Rentals (e.g. muscle cars) - under age 25

Hey ladies,

FI really wants to rent a muscle car or convertible for our wedding day. Any place we've come across online either doesn't rent to people under 25 (we're both 23) or charges a ridiculous deposit fee (e.g. thousands... ha!). Anyone have experience with a local company that rents out cars like this? We really don't want to bother with a limo, as we'd likely only be driving the car from the reception to the hotel.

    Would you be able to have a parent or other older relative rent the car and drive you around? I know the back seats are pretty small in most nice cars, but I don't think there are any companies that rent to under 25 without that huge fee. Sorry.

    Unless you're in the military most major rental companies always charge those fees. Do you know anyone that you could borrow a car from?

    hmm, that's not a horrible idea.. but I know FI would much rather drive himself, lol. I wonder if it's the same deal with vintage cars? probably...

    And now that I think about it, my uncle <em>does</em> have a vintage car that he drives every now & then... and one of the groomsmen has a mustang, although it's not a convertible. Guess we might have to start asking around!

    I think that you could hire someone from an antique car club to drive you, but highly doubt they would lend one to you though.
