Make-up and Hair Recommendations

Hi All,
I am starting to look into hair and make-up vendors for my wedding in August. I am getting married at Lake of Isles in North Stonington. Does anyone have recommendations for people in the area, or anyone willing to travel for a reasonable price? And if their are any Lake of Isles brides out there, has anyone looked into the salon at Foxwoods?

    I am using Danielle Santagata for makeup. She is amazing. She did my makeup for my e-pics and it was flawless. I am using Dana Bartone and Co (Dana herself) for hair. They have been great to work with so far. I have my hair trial on January 26. They both travel to you on the day of your wedding.

    I got married in Mystic, and went to a local place called Bliss Hair Salon for my and my bridesmaids hair. The ladies were were FANTASTIC- super nice, opened up early for us, let us bring food and drinks, take pictures, etc. On top of that, they were a LOT cheaper than the favorites on the board, and they did a great job with our hair! My bridesmaids ended up getting three totally unique hair styles that all went into the same theme of sidebraids.

    I highly recommend them!
