DJ Frank Kaye from Powerstation Feedback??

Hi All,

We got started on picking our DJ a little late (wedding is 9/25/10!) so our options are a little limited. We came across Powerstation, which i have heard some not so good feedback about, but the dj who we met seemed really great. Frank Kaye. Has anyone had him as their wedding DJ, been to an event that he dj'ed, or heard anything?

Any info you guys could give me would be great...thanks!

I had Powerstation and I used Charlie S and I LOVED him.  We got together and worked on a perfect set list.  He really catered to our needs.  He took mp3s of songs I wanted and worked them in.  AND they added my lights last minute when I decided I wanted them, for a GREAT price!

Hmm I hadn't realized that Powerstation was getting not so great feedback.  I know that they were one of the recommended DJs when I was looking last year.  I met with them but ended up going with After Hours in Enfield. Sorry I'm not much help but good luck!

I feel like Powerstation also sets up with big banners on their tables.  If you go with them, I'd try to make sure that you work into your contract no banners.  I'm just not a fan of advertisements in my wedding photos...esp if it happens to be in the background of the first dance.

we did not have any powerstation banners or anything, I really loved working with them so I don't know why people say they have a bad wrap

I've heard people say that they switch the dj that you get at the last minute and that they don't give much personal attention. My impression of them was good though...and if we do use them i will make sure that they don't hang a banner...i would not be into that :)
