bridal shower

Has anyone hosted or attended a bridal shower at the Rainbow Gardens in Milford CT?

Re: bridal shower

  • I have only been there to eat, so I can't comment on how they do private parties, but I will say that the food is excellent!

  • They told me that the min/max number of guests for a buffet lucheon is 35/60. I think our number will be approx. 40 so it seems like it would be a good fit. The guests would be seated in the main dining room and the buffet would be set up in a small area off of it. I have had dinner there and enjoyed their food and found the staff to be very friendly. I thought that this would be a nice setting for a bridal shower and was wondering if anyone had any experience with a private party held at this restaurant.
  • I went to a baby shower there. The service is good and so is the food. As long as you aren't going to max it out... it can be a tight squeeze. I would estimate that there were like 50 people at the baby shower and I could barely breathe. :) But 40 should be okay! good luck!

Thank you for sharing  your experience with me. You have certainly given me food for thought. When you went to the baby shower do you remember if they had all of the guests seated in the main dining room at individual tables of 6 or 8 or at long tables? I was told that the room could be set up either way but they recommended using the long tables  to avoid overcrowding. Also do you remember if they had the buffet set up in the main room or in the small room off to the side? If everything was in the main dining room I can see how that would have been tight.
