Ethel Walker Chapel...

Hi All,I was wondering if anyone has been to a wedding at Ethel Walker Chapel in Simsbury or checked it for themselves...I left a VM but was wondering prices and just some general thoughts...We booked our wedding at the Riverview and that was nice and close...let me know if anyone has any thoughts...thanks xo

My FH and I have been to three weddings there. We were in the wedding party in two. The Air Conditioning is funky in the main sanctuary and your guests will sweat if it's a warm day. There isn't a lift (elevator) in the place, so if you will be using the downstairs to dress and get ready (you will!), any of your guests with a disability will have a difficult time managing those stairs in front. There are other entrances to the basement, ask about them and have your disabled guests use those. The bathrooms are in the basement, too, so the same issues will confront disabled guests (elderly, feeble, etc.) that have to use the heads.
