Hy everyone i just got engaged yesterday but we have been talking of marriage forever. We want to do it next fall...but  is a year and  3 months enough time to get a locatin, and di everything else. Obviously we are going to do ts in ct, and on a small budget since we just moved in together and i have health issues to take care of.Your addvice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome and congrats on your engagement! As all the other ladies have said you have plenty of time to plan your wedding, but yes the vendors and such do book rather quickly so I'd say to try and make booking those a priority to ensure you work with who you want. Oh.. and as pp's mentioned as well.. first draw up a budget to stick to when booking vendors and your venue. Once you know what you're going to spend it's easier to know what packages to book when meeting with vendors. It's a whirlwind, but so much fun. Remember to enjoy every second of it! I can recommend the Mill on the River . No one beats there prices. The building is an old grist mill. It has that New Emgland Charm to it. There is a board walk overlooking the water, and a room that overlooks a water fall.
