Honeymoon in September

We're getting married in September and having a difficult time decinding on a honeymoon spot.  We want the carribean but are afraid of it being hurrican season.  Just wondering where september brides are heading for their honeymoon.Thanks!

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    We too chose to go with Europe...no worry of hurricanes or anything, just beautiful Europe!  We're taking a 14 days cruise from Copenhagen to Rome.

    We're getting married this September as well.  I was a bit worried about this too at first but we decided to get insurance for our trip.  We're taking a western caribbean cruise.  Don't let hurricane season stop you, go where you've always wanted to go and get insurance.  It'll be worth it! :)

    Leb2208----Where are you staying in Aruba? My FI and I are looking at a few places there as well. We are unsure where to stay. This is such a tough choice!

    We decided on the Bucuti.  It was between that and the Westin.  We decided to stay at the smaller, more intimate Bucuti.  It was about the same price and breakfast is included.  Even though there are not as many activities at the Bucuti, its an "adults only" resort and will be less hectic than some of the high rises.

    If you want to honeymoon in the Caribbean then I would go for it! I wouldn’t worry about hurricanes as there is plenty of warning. One place in the Caribbean that I really enjoy is the Dominican Republic. If I were you, I would check out a resort called Dreams La Romana. Dreams La Romana is an all-inclusive hotel located on the southeast coast of the DR. I have visited quite a few of the Dreams properties and loved every one. However, Dreams La Romana was one of my favorites. The beach was beautiful and the service was excellent. I think this would be an amazing place for a honeymoon. There are tons of activities and the staff is so accommodating. Good luck with your decision!
