Macy's

Hi ladies! We're going to register soon, and I know we could do a lot of it online but there's something much more satisfying about holding that gun :)  Plus I want to be able to see a lot of the stuff in person (and feel textures, especially when it comes to things like bath towels and bed linens).I know with Macy's some malls have a lot more selection than others so I want to make sure we're going to one that has the most to offer...  Do you think Danbury or Westfarms would have a better selection?  I tried googling it but didn't come up with much of an answer.  Westfarms would definitely be closer but we wouldn't mind the driveThanks! :)

Actually we're in Enfield so Holyoke would be an option too (totally forgot about that one)

The Macy's at Westfarms is really nice...but I don't have much experience with the others. Maybe start there, you can always go to another mall and adjust.

I'm sure all Macy stores carry about the same selection. Just an FYI, the Macy store in the Buckland Hills mall is holding  a Sip & Scan Event where you eat, drink and get a free gift while registering the event is on 10/13/09 and 10/21/09 from 7-9pm. Check out Macy's website for the rest of the details and to RSVP to the event.

All Macy's are not created equal!  haha  The Macy's near me (Enfield Square mall) is TINY.  has probably half the stock as west farms.  Their china/casual china section is kind of sad. Thanks for the heads up on the registering thing though, that sounds fun!

I was just recently at the Westfarms Macys picking up a discontinued item off my registry and it is REALLY nice. I registered at the Macys at Buckland Hills which was actually pretty great also. I think Westfarms is better than Danbury though.
