Florist Recommendation

Hi! Well the months are ticking away and though I got the big stuff out of the way and booked there are a few small things that I need to finish up and one of the last big ones is the flowers....And I have no idea where to start! I am looking for some recommendations for florists in the Fairfield County Area. I am on a tight budget and only plan on getting my bouquet, two large pieces for the church/reception, and the boutonnieres and corsages (sp?). I did a google search and came up with so many names...... So if anyone could recommend someone I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone!!!

We used Beachwood Florist in Milford. I cannot say enough great things about Linda and the great work that she does. Our bouquets were beautiful and the bouts & corsages were perfect. The prices are also very reasonable - We got 6 bouquets, 11 bouts, 2 small bouquets for the mothers, and 4 corsages for $500.

I'm also using Beachwood in Milford and her prices were great in comparison to another florist I looked into (almost half!). I also have a friend who just used Linda for her wedding, and said she was very happy with her. And the pictures I've seen on FB look great!

If that is all you are getting, you may want to consider your local grocery store florist. The flower selection is more limited but it will be considerably cheaper. All I was getting was my bouquet and the boutonnieres/corsages. I think i spent 8 bucks per bout/corsage, and my bouquet was only 30 bucks! (I used roses, 24 of them I think).

I'm using Flore in Southbury.  Lori is awesome and very reasonable.  She'll work with your budget.  She's so flexible and will even teach you how to make your own bouquets, etc. if you want to do that to save money.  I'm having her make my bouquets, bouts and corsages and she's ordering me the flowers and greenery that I'm going to use for my centerpieces (DIY).  She matched the flower prices I found wholesale online for those, which is great.  I feel more comfortable having the pro make the order and deal with quality control and storage rather than having to do it myself.

Another vote for Jane from Just for You.  She is from outside of FF County but it doesnt matter - she will come down for the wedding.  She will work within any budget.

Blossoms in Norwalk is amazing, Peter is great to work with. Linda at Brock's Flowers in SoNorwalk is amazing as well.

I used Diane Gaudett and all our flowers were stunning!  She is not cheap though - my bouquet of roses, orchids, gardenias and stephanotis was $300.  My girls' were $150 each.  Pictures in my Nestie Bio.

another vote for jane. i posted one shot where you can see the bouquets a couple posts down. we paid 620 for my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 2 corsages, and 6 bouts. she also quoted me about $100 each for sprays for the chuch. shes really good about working in a budget, so if youve got a set amount, just tell her, she can work with it.
