another name change question

the last one got me thinking... is there a time limit on how long you have to change your name? i've been putting it off until we buy a house so i can just change my name & address all at the same time...but it's already been almost 3 months since my wedding!! oops!

    I don't think there is a time limit I think you just need the marriage certificate.I know a girl who just changed her name after 3 years of marriage a few months ago.

    My MOH just changed her ssn after 3 1/2 years...but it was harder. She had to have more documentation than her marriage liscence. She had changed her DMV & bank records (not sure how the bank did it w/out the ssn change, but this was 3 years ago maybe the rules were different), so she had to dig through her old medical records for a copy of her old insurance card with her maiden name on it.
