Anyone have excursion recs?

Looking into excursions for our honeymoon, anyone been on a western carribean cruise? We already booked ours, it's both of our first time on a cruise and are going in April

 Our ports are:

leaving from Miami
Great Stirrup Cay, bahamas
ocho rios, jamaica
Georgetown, Grand Cayman
Cozumel, Mexico

What would you recommend to not miss? - places to see, eat (we are big foodies!), things to do?

We are already definitely planning to see the Mayan Ruins as the hubs has been very interested in that and we both love experiencing cultures.
TIA!

  • *Great Stirrup Cay--- we lounged on the beach for the day (very beautiful water).  There isn't a whole lot to see b/c it's small and owned by the cruise line, but I know you can do water activities if you want.

*Ocho Rios-- we didn't go here on a cruise, but stayed here for a week.  I would definitely recommend the Dunns River Falls!! Just don't buy the DVD they offer you FI really wanted it and purchased it but it ended up being blank. They actually took our cameras during the hike and took tons of pictures of us.  They did a great job not getting the cameras wet, I have to say! Just be prepared to get soaking wet!

*Cozumel--- we did a tour where we rented Jeeps and drove around the island.  The tour also included snorkeling and lunch. We also saw some ruins as well. It was a lot of fun--- I loved Cozumel.

  • In Grand Cayman we went on a Snorkle and Sting Ray city trip and had a very good time.

  • I second Dunns River Falls.  I would suggest brining a water camera and either water shoes or sandals that strap on and have grippy soles.  Otherwise, they'll make you rent watershoes when you get there.  That kinda skeeved me out a bit.

Me and my fiance swam with the dolphins last Decmeber in Cozumel and it was AMAZING! The facility was right next to the beach, the ocean flowed into the pools they had set up, and had mutliple dolphins!!!
  • *Grand Cayman* I would definitely recommend swimming with the stingrays and checking out 7 Mile Beach.

  • The snorkling in Cozumel was unbelievable. We snorkled the Palancar reef with a RC excursion. It is the second largest coral reef in the world after the Great Barrier!  We saw some amazing critters, and then they took us for a great lunch and beach break at Playa Mia.
