Happy Friday everyone!!  I hope you had great week!!

What are the plans for the weekend??!?!

yay!!! i am so glad it is friday! i was CONVINCED that wednesday was actually thursday this week...so it was really disappointing when i found out otherwise  

WR: we are picking up our wedding bands tomorrow! so excited! i am also going to have fiance try on some watches while we are at the jeweler so i can get some ideas about what kind of watch to get him as his wedding gift  

we also put down the deposit on our invitations yesterday YAY!!! so we are going to start working on all the wording to send to our designer for our first round of edits  

NWR: tonight my dad has a basketball game (he is a high school coach) so fiance and i are going to that....

tomorrow night one of my good law school friends is having her bachelorette party...it will be fun but pretty low key, actually, we are just going to a mexican restaurant on the northside of town and then to a random pub. i like primping and getting super dolled up for bachelorette parties, but this one will not be like that!

Yay its Friday! And I'm on vacation next week! This weekend should be fun.

WR: Continuing to look for/order things like favor boxes, DIY supplies, and BM gifts. Probably picking up our invites. Calling the bridal shop to see if my veil is in (they said two weeks, its been longer). Getting FI and his best mans scheduale so I can make an appt. for tuxes. The fat that I am under 150 days now is really freaking me out.

NWR: Tomorrow is the Mac and Cheese Bowl!! So excited to try over 30 different kinds of mac and cheese!

WR: My MOH is going to help me wrap and finish off my brooch bouqet.... I'm so excited to finally have this thing DONE.

NWR: Low-key, 3-day weekend for us.  We have dinner plans Saturday night with my MOH's family, but aside from that we'll be playing it by ear.  This is our last relaxing weekend before things start getting CRAZY for us.

WR: I've made a lot of progress on invitations this week, so I plan to keep going with that. Also want to get FI moving on men's attire.

NWR: Going out to dinner and to a concert with some friends tonight. The rest of the weekend should be low key for us.

My week was sh!t, so I'm happy for it to be over.  No plans being made for this weekend!

WR: Going to the florist with my mom on Monday to look at mock-up pieces and pay the deposit

NWR: tutoring, going to a nice dinner with FI tomorrow night.

Mac and cheese sounds amazing right now!

Bmore, I have never thought of the wedding in terms of weekends that we have left. It seems so much closer when you put it in that perspective!

WR this weekend: My mom and I are going to hopefully order her dress this weekend. I also need to keep brainstorming ideas for gifts for everyone, and also spend some time on the little DIY stuff like favors, escort cards, etc.

NWR: FI and I are going to my mom's house tonight for dinner and drinks. She and my stepdad just got back from a 10 day cruise so we have some catching up to do! That's about it for this weekend, pretty low key.

Yeah, I started thinking of it that way recently, b/c I realized I mostly get sh!t done WR on weekends as opposed to during the week.

I'm sooo glad it's Friday.
I'm planning on getting back to painting. I just have the 3 bedrooms left so hopefully I can get 2 of them done this weekend (nice that it's a long weekend for me, gives me that extra day before I have to go back to work).

I'm leaning towards doing them myself and buying one of those Martha Stewart lace punch things. I know I want to mount them on a board but I'm still undecided on if I want to use pins or make a ribbon board. I think I want a patterned board so simple cards. And I like the look of flat, rather than folded cards.

I'm getting there, slowly but surely!

This was actually a decent week until this morning. I found a HUGE puddle of oil on our garage floor and FI already left for work. It was from his truck. He just had his truck looked at last week and had an oil change. So I spent all morning calling the auto shop and then FI's work (wasn't able to reach him since his phone is broken). So now somebody from the shop is going to drive an hour to where FI's truck is and take a look (may tow it back too). What a morning!!!

Not sure what our plans are this weekend, it all depends on what's up with FI's truck. He may have to take my car to work tomorrow.

Ugh, I HATE car issues, HATE them! My check engine light came on last week and turns out it was only some circuit or something that shorted out, no big deal at all, but it still cost me $150 to reset it. Pain in the ass.

OMG! Mac & cheese sounds amazing!!! FI is in MI for his sisters wedding...so Clyde & I will be studying...watching the twilight movies & I work all weekend too..busy busy! Hahaha

Thank all that is holy that it is Friday!

WR: Heading to Philly to get a ton of WR stuff done: meeting with planner, meeting with caterer, setting menu, cake tasting, walk through at venue, meeting with priest! I'm exhausted even thinking about it, but at least we have Monday off

NWR: Getting dinner with the family at this Brazilian steakhouse place. Fiance and my brother have been to them before, and apparently they bring out slabs of meat and you choose which ones you want...should be interesting? I'm going to try to stick to the salad bar   When we get back from Philly, I must go to yoga.

WR: Going to talk to the priest to hand over some paper work that we needed to get done and schedule the readings and things.

NWR: Just going to hang out! 3 day weekend style! Probably just watch breaking dawn and stay low key and sleep....ahhhh sleeep!!!

we have one in indy and it is AMAZING! they have this weird requirement that in order to be a meat slab holder, you actually have to be brazilian, and all of them are gorgeous.  they actually have really incredible chicken and lamb at the one here, and the salad bar is to die for! enjoy!!!

PS i also just had some heart palpitations over the 20 weekend comment....that sounds like NOTHING. here comes the nausea!

Sooooo glad it's Friday:

NWR I totally messed up at work. I feel terrible about it. Stayed at home today, luckily my boss is taking a vacation next week. I applied for a new job and I'm so hoping I get it, because I need it more and more. Today was the deadline for sending in a research proposal and some other stuff... please help me hoping I make it to the third round! I want this job so much.

WR I don't even want to think about it. This weekend we have another venue meeting and we are going to let the inlaws know a bit more about our plans, because up until now, they haven't been that involved.

NWR: Spending time with family and friends!

Oh dear lord. 20 weeks? I had better get some crap done!!

This weekend is bound to be fun, and not wedding heavy like last weeks. that was ridiculous.

NWR: Tonight I have a surprise party for a friends birthday. FI cant come unfortunately, but it will be great to catch up with some friends i havent been able to spend time with lately. Tomorrow- I won a "pampering" session and a gift card from a Mary Kay lady, so a BM and I get to do that tomorrow. Then at night we have a Valentines couples dinner; im making red velvet cupcakes and salad. Last year this dinner involved a lot of wine; so Im hoping for a repeat. Sunday we are finally having a valentines date night. Im surprising FI and his nerd side; we are going to see the star wars 3D movie, and have dinner. 

WR: I dont think there is much going on. I need to call Buffalo Wild Wings about the rehearsal dinner, and see if we can book the separate room this early. I also need to send our videographer our contract. If im bored, I may start planning the ceremony out so I can have that set and send to the friend whose printing the programs. 

and i think im about to make some mac n cheese.

NWR: Homework - and relaxing with FI. I plan to just take it easy this weekend.

WR: Start thinking about playlist for DJ, work on honeymoon planning, and find shoes/lingerie for my wedding dress. We're meeting with our officiant on Monday.

YAY so excited for the weekend! So not excited to work tomorrow and Monday.  I really don't like the weekend count since the next 9 of mine I'm working, eek.

WR - FI is picking up the rest of the invitations and hopefully I can get in touch with my FG/RB's parents tomorrow or Sunday.  I also want to start working on my programs and getting the templates cut out and start some of the work.  

NWR - I'm working tomorrow and then FI and I will probably stay in and make dinner and watch a movie.  Sunday is homework day and house cleaning.   I swear these days I live the most uninteresting life.
