    Hi, and welcome!

Where to stay definitely depends on what you're looking for: B&B, fancy hotel, or a good deal.  The Mystic Hilton is nice, but somewhat pricey (you get what you pay for).  There are a ton of cute B&Bs if you're into that kind of thing, and a LOT of hotels just off exit 90 from I-95, you can find pricing on Orbitz or any internet search.

Must-see: Mystic Seaport (living history museum, exhibits demonstrations and a re-created historic village), Mystic Aquarium (see beluga in my siggy below!), old Mystic Village is fun to walk around, there are a bunch of shops near the drawbridge.  Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream is super delicious, and you can watch the boats from there.  If your trip is in the fall, check out Clyde's Cider Mill for cider and sugar donuts.

It's also a short trip to Mohegan Sun casino (Foxwoods is pretty close, too).  If you don't like gambling, there are shops and restaurants, so it's a pretty fun scene.  And in downtown Mystic I'd recommend the Harp & Hound (bar) or the Daniel Packer Inn (bar & restaurant) for going out.  If you like Thai food Rice, Spice, Noodles is a great little place by the train station.

    Have fun, Mystic is awesome!

We usually stay at the Bellissimo Grande in Stonington when we're out the Mystic/ Mohegan way. The hotel is very elegant and clean, and the prices are extremely reasonable.

We love going to the seaport and aquarium in Mystic. Old Mystic Village is a great place to check out too. They have a bunch of shops and make sure you try the wood fired pizza at Mango's Pizza. So good! Franklin's General Store has some really great fudge, too.
