I came across this story on NBC 30 tonight and thought it might be of interest to some local brides. FI and I contacted Jesse months ago but became suspicious of his very negative reviews and opted to look elsewhere. I'm glad we did.

I actually just came on here to post the same thing. We never looked into videographers but this is definitely something everyone should know.

What's really scary to me is that supposedly theknot was having promotions for them! 

My most best advice to anyone planning a wedding: do NOT go by theknot's vendor lists. Use weddingwire or other brides or friends for reviews. Theknot is really just whoever pays, gets in.

Unfortunately...my FI and I contracted him for our September wedding.  What's upsetting is that we purchased his services through Wedding Channel Deals, which partners with The Knot (if I'm not mistaken..), and we thought that this would be an additional reassurance that Wedding Channel is only advertising reputable vendors.  My FI and I don't really know where to take things from here!  Does anyone else have any suggestions??  I would really appreciate it  We're already in the process of looking for another videographer, but it would be helpful to find out how we can get our money back.  Thanks, knotties!

I don't know about how to get your money back from him but I know that Powerstation was running a promotion for brides who had already booked with them. This is what they posted on facebook. 

Its hard to believe that a so called "professional" in our industry could treat their clients this way!

I'm using Vivideography - which was highly reccomended by the brides here and the price was very resonable!!

@tmarin06 - that is crazy because I thought the name of the company sounded familar and I looked into that wedding channel deal as well.  What is wierd is that they are also listed at a location in Massachusetts.

I went to go meet with Jesse from SureShot. I drove an hour to meet him and he asked me to sign a contract two minutes into the meeting. It was the worst wedding meeting I had, there was no connection to him AT ALL. I said I have to think about it and I am so glad I went with my gut and said no. I just had a bad feeling about the entire thing.
