It's really not the salon's fault if the bride added more people than she originally booked for (and it could even not be the bride's fault- my SIL asked the night before my wedding to join us!). And I agree with the person who told you it's a good thing brides come first- would you want to show up on your wedding day and have them doing someone else's hair instead of yours or your BMs? 

It does suck that you wont be able to get your hair done for your engagement shoot, but you can still do the trial on another day. Is there another salon you use normally? Could you get your hair done there instead of at Salon Naomi's for your photoshoot?

Well the thing about this is that when I went to sign my make-up contract with them, they had me fill out how many girls I'd be having then put the deposits for them. So I guess what I'm saying is that if they don't really enforce this, I might as well not worry about getting all the girls deposits in asap if that is the case because they will have to be available for me that day no matter what??

I'm not worried about the trial rescheduling on another day, but more so about what I'm going to have to do for the shoot seeing it is a Thursday and most places are booked solid for this Saturday. I'll take recommendations for other salons tho...

I'd definitely tell whatever other salons you contact about what happened- there might be some willing to squeeze you in because of what happened.

I don't think I would be that angry, as PP said at least you know the bride comes first.  Plus, do you really want your "wedding day hair" to be the same in your engagement pics?  I would say contact as many salons as possible and see who can fit you in and do something completely different then you want for your actual wedding day.  Then you can reschedule your trial for another day   GL

Suggestions for salons, Bladez and Shadez in meriden (idk where in CT your located) but I love the place.

As far as a recommendation, if it's near you, Charlene Elizabeth salon in wallingford. Charlene has been my stylist for years and she recently left her old salon to open her own place. Not sure if she has availability but it's worth a shot

I agree with all PP.  You don't want the same hair for your wedding day as your pictures.  Is there someone you normally go to?  Do you have any friends that know how to do hair?

I hope this doesn't discourage you from booking with Jenna. I had my hair trial with her 2 weeks ago and was so happy with how it came out. She did a fantastic job!

I usually go to Beautiful People Salon in Cromwell and would definitely recommend them!

I would suggest contacting Kate from Salon Space in North Haven. They are where I am getting my hair done for engagements and the wedding and are very flexible. Just call and see if they have anythign open, or check on their online booking site!  http://www.salonspacect.com/
