So, my fiance's cousin recently got engaged. She was supposed to get married a year or two ago (to a different guy) and called it off. She contacted my fiance to see when we are getting married, then sent a text informing him that she is getting married the weekend before us!
Grr. I realize plenty of people like to get married in the spring, but there are lots of other weekends to pick from! The only reason I'm annoyed is there are lots of out of state family members on that side, and FI is concerned that this will make it hard for them.
Given her track record, though, who knows whether she'll actually get married next year anyway.
Oh well, at least she didn't pick the exact same day!
