Spa Recomendations.

I'm in a wedding this coming July and the idea of a few hours at the spa was floated around as part of the bachlorette so I thought I would come looking for recommendations. I also have a friends birthday coming up so I thought I might try out one of the spas with her first. We're in the Danbury area but willing to travel. The more information on the website the better. Thanks!

Tranquility in Milford is bar none my favorite in the state.  Turquoise in Fairfield is also excellent.

that sounds like a great bachelorette!!!!  have fun :)

I would probably recommend Candlewood Day Spa because they have a large facility (very clean) with lots of pedi chairs and mani tables all in the same area.  That way you can all get manis and pedis together and not have to either wait turns or be in separate rooms.  I haven't gotten their other services though, so I can't give feedback on them.  I'm planning on book there for my bridal party the day before the wedding.

I don't know of any on your side of the state, but my mom and I just had a weekend getaway at the Norwich Inn and Spa. We had a fabulous time. The spa treatments are really expensive, but you can probably find a package deal to save some $$ on. The service is very classic, like every person is there to wait on you alone. The fitness classes we took there weren't so great,  but we loved our massage and body wraps! They also have a ton of amenities at the spa for you to use while you're there that day. thespaatnorwichinn.com

If you want to travel, I have to recommend Water's Edge -- the girls brought me there for a day out prior to my wedding.

If you want to stay more local, I really like Adam Broderick.  I've used them for years now as my regular salon and they did all the services prior to my wedding.

There are also a few options in Stamford, Noelle, another one at the Marriott...

    Good luck :)
