PIP: Shoe help!! Heel slipping

Hi Ladies,

My Badgley Mischka shoes were delivered yesterday.  WOOT!!!!!  They are so beautiful and I love them!!  My problem is that I have really narrow feet and they fit perfectly except for the heel.  When I walk my heel slips out of the back and I dont want to be concerned about this when I walk down the aisle!  I have tried those heel inserts before, but they have never really helped me before.  Any other suggestions???  Heres a pic of the lovelies!

Thanks!!

I tried heel inserts a LONG time ago and hated them. However- I actually just bought some Dr. Scholls heel inserts for a pair of heels I have that slip real bad (they were BCBG leather pumps at marshalls- a 1/2 size too big but oh well right? lol) They work pretty good.

Sometimes just getting a puffier insert for the whole shoe makes it fit better- so you might want to try that too. I have a few of those in shoes that are slightly too large and they work.

Maybe even taking the shoes to a shoe repair shop- could they sew in some puffier pieces of leather towards the back to make them fit good- or add in an ankle strap?

I love the Dr. Scholls heel inserts. If that doesn't work you could always try to put in one of those pad things for the ball of your foot. This might push your foot back into the shoe a bit and make it all around snugger. And for the day of, if it's just slipping a little bit- spray your heel/ankle area with hair spray. It helps keep your heel in place. Good luck!

Thanks Kate212!  I will try putting inserts in the ball and the heel and hopefully that will work.

Another vote for Dr. Scholls heel inserts...unfortunately, I'm not aware of any other fixes, maybe visit a cobbler/shoe repair shop for more ideas? And may I just say, gorgeous shoes!!! Some shoes are worth the hassle!  You can always switch to flats/flip flops after the ceremony anyways :)

Thanks!   Oh yes, I will definitely have a pair of OKA flip flops ready for the reception.  Hopefully I can make it through the first dance with the Badgleys :)
