We finally started to look at cakes today. We went to Luigis & DelPrete, both in Bridgeport. Del Prete's seemed bored talking to us & had nothing for us to try but said he would put together a sample of whatever we wanted if we were to return. Luigis was very nice, the cake we tried was delicious and he gave us a good price. But, some reviews online for them are not very positive so I was wondering if any of you have had any experiences, WR or NWR, with Luigis (or Del Prete). TIA

    My sister's wedding cake was from Luigi's. It was very good. Our venue package comes with a cake from there as well. We are going with a cannoli cake. I would highly recommend them!

    We are using Del Prete, It comes with our package deal also. I did taste Luigis and based on the reviews and taste of the cake I felt Del Prete cakes were 100% better. The owner of Del Prete does give that rush feeling, but over all he does what you want and works with you and his options for base price are longer then Luigis. Plus the cakes I sampled were delicious. The samples he makes are big pieces so you can take home and share with fam and friends. Good Luck =)
