For those of you who did not get married at a church, did you have programs? I feel like I want to but have no idea what to write on them. All the examples seem to be for church ceremonies. We are getting married outside, at The Barns, by a JP, and I'm not quite sure what to do.

I found a really cute looking program that's really popular on weddingwire, and I used Publisher to change it to fit my day.

That's a really cute idea! I am also having an outside ceremony by a JP and it will be pretty short, no unity candle/sand, no readings. I was debating whether or not to do a program and don't think I have enough stuff to include. I've asked a few friends their opinions and I think it's a waste of time/money to do them for my ceremony since everything is at the same site. It's not like a church wedding where I need to remind people when or where cocktail hour or reception is.
