Wedding venues near Mystic, CT

I recently got engaged and am starting my search for wedding venues. Does anyone know any budget friendly wedding sites near Mystic, CT? Everything I'm finding either has a very high venue fee or super expensive catering options. I'm hoping to find something that isnt too cookie-cutter. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

First things that come to mind are they aquarium and seaport. Certainly not cookie cutter

Ditto the aquarium and the Seaport.  There's also Branford House (next town over, in Groton).  Lake of Isles is in North Stonington, and there are a few places on/near the beach in Westerly RI.

There are a lot of Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium brides on this board. Both venues are extremely lovely.

Also, the Mystic Arts Center and Mystic Yacht Club. The Inn at Mystic is gorgeous, but pricey.

Also Saltwater Farm Vineyard and Jonathan Edwards Vineyards.

I live in Mystic....and wanted to get married in the area because, well....it would be convenient! I wasn't finding anything very budget friendly. All of the vineyards are amazing but just their rental fees alone are outrageous. We ended up getting married at Bill Millers Castle in Branford and LOVED IT. DEFINITELY not cookie cutter. While I'm sure Seaport weddings are great, I have a few friends that work for catering companies associated with it and they said I got WAY more bang for our buck at our venue. Sorry if that didn't help....but I honestly couldn't think of a place in my own town that's even remotely budget friendly!
