Invitations are done!!!

I finished the invitations today!!! Woo hoo!!!!  Originally I was mourning the loss of my pocketfolds... (I decided to scale back because I didn't have enough time to handle that big of a project), but I'm really happy with how our invites turned out.  I used Cards & Pockets and did a panel invite.  I had them do the invite and RSVP printing, but I printed all my other inserts, cut the mats and did all the mounting.  I also had custom stamps made so that I could emboss our return address on the invite and also emboss our address on the RSVP envelope.  Pics are below!  The return addy is the round one in black, and the other was done is a deep purple embossing powder (kinda hard to tell from the pic).  The RSVP, envelope and inserts were all tied together w/ a sage colored satin trimmed organza ribbon. 

I also found the most perfect font that mimics hand calligraphy!!! I honestly can't tell that they weren't done by hand unless I look really closely.

So, everything is stamped and ready for the mail on Monday.  Yay!!!

Everything came out so great!! No need to mourn your pocketfold loss anymore, not with those invites!  Love the embossing, too!! When are you mailing them out?? I have one more step to mine before they can get sealed, then I will have pics to share!

Thanks everyone!  Melissa, I'm sending them out tomorrow!  Yay!  I already can't wait to start getting the RSVPs back. lol!  Next task is to do the rehearsal dinner invite.  I think I'm just going to do the free invites on Vistaprint... oh and then I have to do programs and menus. ugg.  Still quite a few things to do and only 2 1/2 months left!  I'm going up to MA tomorrow for my mom's birthday and am going to hit this fabulous wedding shoe/accessory store.  My sister checked it out and said it's amazing.  http://www.shoestodyefor.com/

Beach11, I partially designed them myself.  I already had the mock layout that I was going to attempt to print myself and had already picked out the pattern paper and the mats.  Then I decided to look into having C&P do the printing.  They happened to already have an invite design that pretty much matched the layout I had come up with, so I just had them use their design and update it with the wording and info I gave them.  They were so helpful.
