Looking for a great place somewhere in Washington D.C. for our honeymoon. Any good ideas out there?

    I also suggest staying a night or two in the VA wine country. One of our favorite spots for a quick getaway is L'Auberge Provencale in White Post, VA. It is a lovely French Country inn with a phenomenal restaurant on the property. It is a great spot to base yourselves to tour the many wineries and take a picnic lunch (the inn can pack one for you) to enjoy. Chrysalis and Linden are two of our favorite vinyards in the area.

    For hotels in the city we love the Kimpton properties.
