FI and I finally sat down with Mandi to go over our menu. She is really sweet and very helpful. FI and I had different ideas of where the head table should be and she came to the rescue with an awesome suggestion. Instead of a long head table against the windows and taking up some dance floor. Now the head table is going to be in an L shaped at the corner of the dance floor. We will still have the lake as our backdrop but I'm not going to feel like people are watching me eat the entire time.
We picked Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb and Chicken Roulade for entrees. For hors d'oeuvres we got scallops wrap in bacon, calamari, crab cakes, pepper crusted sirloin, lobster bread pudding, bruschetta, spanikopita and thai chicken. Just thinking about it is making me hungry!! Also since we are getting married on my brother's birthday(it was the only date FI and I could agree on), we are getting an ice cream cake for him and Waterview doesn't charge cutting fee for it. Some venues we looked at were going to charge a fee for that.
