Anyone have itinerary/general advice? We're going April 30-May 19, in very early planning stages and neither of us have been to Spain. We're probably renting a car. (We've both driven in Europe before and like the flexibility to mosey at our own pace, but let me know if there's a reason we shouldn't do that!)
Here's a rough first itinerary (VERY open to change):
*flying in/out of Madrid (nonstop from Chicago)
*driving north for wineries, hiking, then over to Barcelona
*Barcelona-Ibiza for a few days of partying.
*flying Ibiza-Barcelona, flying to a southern city, or taking the ferry to Valencia?
*moseying around the southern coast and spending time in Grenada
*driving back up to Madrid, sightseeing a few days then flying home
Is this way to much activity for 3 weeks? Specifically, do we need to choose between the northern wine country/mountains and the southern coast/Grenada? Or, is there something ELSE we need to add that we're missing?
Thanks!
