I am trying to find a good seamstress in CT who can add a custom touch to my dress. Have you used one or know of a reputable one?

I have a seamstress that has been doing work for me for years. I started using her in high school when she alterned by prom dress. I am using her to make my wedding dress. I'm not sure how close Monroe is to you, but I used Marcy's Tailor Shop awhile back to basically rebuild a bridesmaid dress that was ordered 3 sizes to big and she did a fantastic job. Her  number is (203) 452-9309. She's nice and works out of her home and I thought her prices we competitve too.

What area are you looking for?  My seamstress, Beth, in Groton is amazing and she is very reasonably priced.  She owns Sew It All on Long Hill Rd.  She is extremely knowledgeable and she did a fantastic french bustle on my gown.

Anyone know of one closer to the Meriden area? Groton and Monroe are a bit far for me.
