Daytime tent lighting?

Our reception is in a park from 2:30-6:30pm.  Do we need to shell out (quote of $1500) for lighting?  Or would daylight be enough?  We'll provide some outside flood lighting for the cleanup crew.

I think it would be ok... but maybe have something in reserve incase of a cloudy day? Or if you have candles on the tables that will help some. Maybe string up some fun lights inside? I can't image you would need to spend that much on lighting if its mainly a daytime wedding.

Does the tent company provide any interior lighting?
We did rent lights but it wasn't that expensive - we had 3 large chandelier types hanging from the ceiling and we also put up white x-mas lights around the upper inside perimeter which gave off plenty of light.
Granted our reception was from 4-midnight so we needed the light for dancing and cleanup but I think you may want a little extra light like pp says in case it's not totally sunny out.
For safety reasons too you may want the extra light

How does sunlight shine inside the tent? Does the tent have tent walls? I could see it getting dark in the tent.

Spend that money on the honeymoon or something else. It is mostly daytime...

And what if it isn't a sunny day? Since it is in a park, are there trees that would block the sun and shade the tent?
