Monday Morning Freak Out

So I wake up this moring after coming back from an vacation last week and all of the wedding stuff is really starting to stress me out! We have just over a month and still so much is not done/ undecided. I found out that my BM's STILL have not gotten their shoes. So I go to look and sure enough, they are all sold out of their sizes. Now we have to go back and start over to pick out a new pair that will work for everyone. And one of the BM's won't buy them until she tries them on. Ugh! And I want to get them all jewlery but I don't really want to pick it out until I know what shoes they will be wearing. We still have to plan pretty much our entire ceremony and talk to our pastor about it. And we still haven't picked out any music or dance songs I asked FI yesterday about his GM gifts and he said he's never heard of that. Really?? lol. I am hoping I dont have to do that too. Luckily we are meeting with our wedding planner today so hopefull she can help with some of this. I know I have a month to go but I was hoping most of these things would be done by now. Not to mention our RSVP date is on the 4th and we still have about 60% of guest that have not RSVP'd including most of our WP and our parents..... smh. Anyone else freaking out right now?

I would want to try shoes on first too so I could make sure they were comfortable enough for me to walk in them.  Why don't you just tell them all what color shoe to buy and let them choose their own.  That will take that stress off of your plate and give them a chance to buy a shoe that they feel comfortable buying.

Also I have never heard of anyone matching jewelry with shoes.  As long as you know what dress they are wearing which you do by now just go out and buy their jewelry.  I bought all of mine on etsy.

I agree with Lady, let them all pick out shoes that are the same color.  I have awkward feet and I hate how a lot of shoes fit me and would really want to try them on first before buying them.  I would defnitely just go and by jewelry, what does it matter about the shoes not matching? As long as you decide on a color for both you should be fine.  I bought my girls jewelry at Kohl's.

Breathe. I mean, I'm getting pretty nervous too but I swear it will be ok. I have a DJ meeting in two days and havent picked out most of the music. Thats tonights plan, Oh and FI can't come to the meeting. Try not to stress to much over shoes, and no one will notice if the Jewlrey exactly matches the shoes as long as they dont clash. I'm sure you know the color you want. I'm not even making my girls wear specific shoes or Jewlrey. I gave them a color and they picked their own. It took a lot of stress off me. And as for RSVP's, most of my bridal party didnt RSVP. I know they are coming. I just sent them texts asking what they wanted to eat. It didnt even occur to them that they had to. You have plenty of time for the rest to come in. You will have some stragglers but you can call them after the deadline. Mine passed last week and Im still waiting on 12 people. So just do what you can to take the stress off and have faith that it will all work out.

ITA with the PPs about letting them choose their own shoes. I really think, if nothing else, this will take some unnecessary stress off of you! And just go for jewelry that will match their dresses, or even the color of shoes.

For instance, I just said "silver" shoes and let them take it from there. I trust that they won't show up in silver flip flips, but if they do, whatever...I can only control so much! So I bought blingy rhinestone necklaces that are silver, rather than gold, knowing they'd match fine. They also have rhinestones on their dresses, so if nothing else, it matches that.

As for everything else...it will all come together! We have less than 3 weeks and FI STILL hasn't put together our ceremony! I ended up writing up the programs last night, and now he has to follow that when creating the ceremony lol He's stressing about it, but I trust he will get it done. If it's not done in two weeks, then I will stress! As for GM gifts, I've been enforcing that one on FI since day 1 lol I took responsibility for (nearly) everything else, he could get his guys gifts!!

I am letting them choose their own shoes. I just really wanted them to all go together, they don't need to match exactly. I asked them to go with silver but so far they still haven't found anything. So I wanted to wait until they got the shoes in case they decided to go with nude or something. So I guess I could just get them something with rhinestones or something, I was just trying to get something with a little more color and I just wanted to make sure it didnt clash with the shoes. As far as RSVP's go, I figured we'd end up having to call people I just didn't expect it to be so many, especially people so close to us that I know are coming. Hopefully we will get a bunch more in this next week.
