congrats.... i am not a Mystic Aquarium bride.... but do you mind sharing how much is to book a wedding there.... 

before i booked my wedding at Dolce, i wanted to get info for the mystic aquar. but i was afraid it would be too expensive.

The venue was $3000 plus tax and they have their own caterer and food ranges from $50 a plate to over $100. 

It is so beautiful. I actually thought about Dolce but thought it was more expensive than the aquarium.

i don't know.... i guess it depends because if you can get plates for $50 it's great...

dolce right now, i believe its 120p person but i booked when it was 100-110 p/person

My best friend had her wedding at the aquarium.  It was amazing! She got some beautiful pictures with the beluga whale in the background and us guests did some silly pictures in the lobster crawl hole.  Hehe! You are absolutely going to love it!  I do know she did have to make sure noise levels with the dj were appropriate so it didn't harm the sealife.

My brother got married at the Aquarium. He got married right in front of the Beluga tank. I can try and answer any questions for you or forward the questions on to him or his wife.

I actually was wondering about the ceremony and you can probably answer the question!

I know that the location can only hold about 30 chairs and I have about 200 guests. How was it standing? I'm worried about people not being able to see.

I'm so happy to see this, I am also getting married at the Aquarium!  We are less than 2 months out, our date is May 7, 2011.  We are having our ceremony off-site, at a church, so I can't help you there.  The prices for the reception I thought were really reasonable.

I am so excited for our reception, I think the Aquarium is an amazing venue and we know the head chef personally, so I'm super excited about the food as well.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions I might be able to answer, although obviously I'll know more after May 7!
