In need of an organist to play at a church wedding

Hi Ladies,
I am looking to hire an organist for my May 3rd wedding (it's a Friday).... my church organist will not be able to play that day.  Does any one have experience looking for an organist who is not associated with your church?

I'm not sure where you are getting married but I used to work at the University of Hartford and they have the Harrt School of music as of their programs. You can call the Harrt School of Music in West Hartford and ask to see if they have someone that you can hire. I know some friends who did their Masters there and also got some paying gigs.

Maybe call a neighboring church in the area and see if their organist would come play if they dont have a wedding that day.
