Restaurant for bachelorette

Hi Ladies! I am planning a bachelorette party for next month. There will be about 6 people. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cool restaurant to do dinner at? Milford or New Haven would be great. TIA!

Re: Restaurant for bachelorette

  • Box 63 in New Haven has some great food, burgers and mac and cheese. The upstairs has some big booths and a nice bar area too.
  • Stonebridge in Milford
  • I think theres a dueling piano bar in new haven that serves food

John Davenport's is on the top floor of the Omni in New Haven and the food is amazing (my sister's boyfriend is the sous chef there) and the view of new haven is great.  There is also Barcelona (a tapas restaurant) which is very good and fun place to be.  There is also Keys to the city, which is a piano bar and it's attached to another bar/club type place.  Only downside is that it is not downtown, it's near Ikea so if you aren't having a good time you can't really hop over to another place after dinner you'd have to get in your car and then drive to downtown new haven.
  • There is a hibachi restaurant right next to the dress shop Harold's in New Haven. We went there for a girlfriend's bachelorette and it was great fun. We went to a comedy club after dinner.
  • Hibachi is always a great time!!!
  • Bar in New Haven has awesome pizza and three different areas (pizza/brew room/dance floor with bar). It is a great place to go to and spend the night because they have three different atmospheres.

I also like Geronimo, especially for the tequila. And one of my favorite places is Soul de Cuba.

They are all on Crown Street (I think!) in New Haven. Have fun!
