Recommended all inclusive resorts?!?

Hi ladies FI and I have just switched our plan from a trip to Europe to an all inclusive in the tropics, we just couldnt justify the cost of airfare to Europe when we love the beach so much. I'm Just wondering, since we dont necessarily have a set destination (leaning toward Jamaica or mexico) what you recommend. Looking to go for a week and would ideally love to keep it under 3000 with airfare. We'd like a place with things to do and one with possibly more nightlife over a quieter resort, I have been on the hunt but it is always nice to have extra feedback!!
Thanks so much!

Re: Recommended all inclusive resorts?!?

  • I've been to the RIU Palace AI resorts in Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, and both were wonderful!  Outside of the resort I enjoyed Cabo a bit more than Cancun.  We went snorkeling in Cancun and it wasn't that great.  We didn't see many fish and the reef was brown.  Whale watching in Cabo was an absolute blast, and we were able to see a few whales.

Hope that helps!  Good luck with your search!
  • P.S. Tux and Freddie are adorable. Smile  I hope you're found a way to incorporate them into the wedding!
  • We stayed at Catalonia Royal Tulum in Mexico for a vacation and LOVED it! It is a little off the beaten track.. about 2 hours south of Cancun but well worth it. Less tourist-y but still a lot to do. Its really close to the Mayan Ruins!. We booked through Expedia and I did not have one complaint about it!
  • Sandals resorts!  Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas or Sandals Negril in Jamaica.
  • Sandals grande riviera in Jamaica is a great resort!
