Seaport Question

This is probably completely due to wedding brain, or whatever it's called. 

I wanted to take pictures on my wedding day at the Seaport, even though I'm getting married at the aquarium.

Should I contact the Seaport and ask them if I can take pictures? Or since it's during normal business hours (ie before 5pm) should I just show up in my dress with my photog? At first I was worried about another bride having a wedding, but I think I'd be in and out before that time. 

I feel like this is such a silly question but I don't want to miss out! Thanks ladies!

Hmmmm when we had our reception at the Seaport, we had to let our coordinator know what time we were doing the First Look/wedding party pics and then she set us up with an assistant from there.  Basically the assistant just followed us around the Seaport but we had to be accompanied by someone from the staff.  That may be different if you just show up in your dress since I'm assuming you'd pay admission. I don't think they'd let you in for free if you're not having your wedding there. So, if you pay admission, you could probably walk around without an escort....but I'm not sure?  If you do have to pay, that could get pretty pricey.  It might be worth contacting them since maybe it's good for their business and they wouldn't charge too much.

Not sure, but just want to suggest doing pics in downtown mystic or the olde mistick village if that falls through..however I'm sure they'll let you do pictures if you pay admission!

I'd definitely contact them because you don't want to show up and be turned away!  That would be such a disappointment and waste of time on your big day.

Thank you ladies! I didn't think of how much it would end up costing to get us all into the Seaport. I guess I'll give them a call!

Just an update for you all- I emailed the Seaport and they said only couples who are having their ceremony/reception at the Seaport can take photos there. )=  I sent another email to see if we can work anything out, but it's not looking so good. I guess it's better to know now so I can plan, but it's also a disappointment.
