hey knottie friends,

i am so excited i have 79 days to go and not much left to do! it feels fatastic to know i dont have much longer to go. when should i send my invites out?

that is always so exciting! I think you can send them out now if they're ready. We sent ours out a little after the 3 month mark.

Typically its 8 to 10 weeks out.  If you didn't send STDs out I'd probably go 10 weeks out and you're pretty much there.  If you did I would probably do 8 weeks.  Even if you did to STDs you could send them out now.  There is nothing wrong w/ that.  i say I'm going to do 8 weeks but if they're staring at me ready to be mailed I'll probably do it earlier!

Blink, I dare you.  I'm at 50 days.  I just don't know where time has gone!!!

Send them whenever they're ready.  I wouldn't send them much before the 3 month mark since people tend to lose them - we sent them 10 weeks ahead of time, with the RSVP date 4 weeks before the wedding.  So it gives people only about a month to receive and mail back.  If they have them for too long, they tend to lose them or forget to respond.

oh gosh! i just realized im 79 days to go too!!! am i doing my math wrong or are we both 9/29? im sending my invites out on tuesday... after a complete meltdown and a new printer purchase on sunday we are finally ready. Luckily just got in contact with our priest today who confirmed he would be officiating our wedding. After that news I'm feeling a little better about things it seems so close but we really do have time. 11 weekends i think? me and my FI only  have one free weekend left between now and then and im thinking of taking him camping as a surprise, just to get away from everything! good luck!!

Yea, i would say sent them anytime now.  Some people were surprised we sent them around 8-9 weeks instead of 3 months.  But we sent STD so i thought it was fine.

I'm 85 days away and we are sending out our invites next week. I am just waiting on one address from my FI's mother. It is their family friend's daughter, who I didn't even know was invited into about a month ago. We got invited to their daughter's wedding, so I guess we have to invite them. I am hoping to get the address in the next few days. Is it okay to send out the rest and when I get the address send it out?
