Does anyone have suggestions for GREAT hotels/resorts on Oahu, Kauai, and Maui?  We would prefer to spend less on Oahu, but spend a little more in Kauai...and splurge in Maui.  We want to stay at hotels/resorts that offer many amenities and have great beaches.

The Marriott in Lihue, Kauai is GORGEOUS!  My friend got married there this past August.  It has it's own beach front that is in a cove, so it's protected from the really strong currents.  It also has a very lovely open air courtyard with a koi pond.  We stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort, which was really nice, but definitely didn't have a nice beach.

Same here.  Loved everything about it, although the beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

We did enjoy the Hilton...if you stay there try to get a room as high up as you can!

We stayed at The Ritz on Maui and thought it was awesome! BUT! Then we got to the Grand Hyatt in Poipu, Kauai, and loved it a zillion times more!  We also stayed at The Princeville a few days later and really loved the Grand Hyatt much more.

We just stayed at the Fairmont in Maui and Grand Hyatt on Kauai, both were fantastic!
