Guest Book

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with the wedding guest book after the wedding? I am looking for a creative way to display it...i just feel bad stashing it away.

Thanks!

Our photographer is actually doing an engagement book and guests will sign the blank pages inside (hopefully not over our pics) so that we'll be more likely to look through our guest book.

One of my friends had everyone sign a matte from a huge picture frame so that they could put a pic of them in it after the wedding and hang it somewhere.

I also saw someone do a plate that you wrote on with a special marker and they displayed that in their house.

That being said, we aren't doing one at all LOL.

My friend did that last month...I guess it will be like a coffee table book after the fact?

This is exactly why we decided not to get a regular guest book. We bought a signature frame from Exclusively Weddings. We're going to put one of our engagement photos in the middle and they engraved a plaque that has our names and wedding date on it and our guests will sign the signature mat around the picture. We like that this will hang up in our home, and we can see it whenever we walk by instead of a book that would get stored away and out of site.

There are a lot of knotties who have had great ideas for guest book alternatives that are more useful to their style.

I plan on printing our engagement photos into postcards and have guests sign them as postcards.  I bought a keepsake box to hold them in.  It will also hold my trinkets from the wedding (like an extra invite, my paper flowers etc) since it's a big box that will hold more than just the postcards.

I took our E-pix and made a book with shutterfly for our guest book.  I made a sign and had cute pens out, we still have the book, it's in our bookcase and look at it from time to time.
