Indoor Photo locations Wallingford Area

Our wedding is the 29th, and just to be safe I'm looking for some indoor locations for our photographs if it rains.. Anyone have any suggestions? The church & reception are both in Wallingford..so I'll need to keep it relatively close!

I'm from Wallingford but I can't think of any indoor places good for photography ): I wish I could help. If I think of something I'll let you know.

We're getting married in January in Wallingford, and while I haven't asked yet, I'm planning on seeing if I can get pictures done in Gouveia Vineyards - it is really very pretty. The problem is, it's peak wine-tasting season, so that will probably be fairly packed.

@winterwendy12.. thank you, I'm actually from Wallingford.. and Gouveia is my outdoor location, and it is absolutely beautiful inside too, but I'm afraid that like 2pm on saturday will be packed :-(.. Thank you for the info though!! And good luck with your wedding plans! Where is your reception?

Our ceremony and reception is going to be at the Traditions Golf Course. But I wanted to do first looks at Gouveia, because it's stunning, we didn't get to do e-pics at a vineyard (we were rained in, and did them at Union Station New Haven), and it's perfectly on the way from the hotel to the Seasons!

Good luck! Maybe if it rains, it'll keep wine-tasters home, and you can sneak some inside?
There were things on that list that sounded interesting, but I don't know enough - maybe a restaurant you guys love? I thought the Carriage house and the Spoon company sound cool... but maybe they're not?

Oh how awesome, my reception is at Seasons!! I love them there, and a friend of mines sisters wedding was there in august, nothing but great things said!! Hopefully it's wonderful for you. I'll check the list out, maybe it'll give me some ideas!... :-)

Hey, I just wanted to let you know.. that The Brittania Spoon Company isn't there anymore, well the building IS.. but it's now Westbrook Lobster... just in case you were planning on doing anything there.. it's still the same building, just a little bit different, the back deck is nice too. :-)

I'm from the Wallingford area too, and to be honest there really aren't any indoor places for photos. Gouevia is a great location, but like you said, on a Saturday afternoon in October, the place is bound to packed! I know our photographer told us if it rained she was just going to do our photos in our church and at the reception. Maybe that's an option? Good luck and hopefully the weather is perfect and you don't have to worry about indoor photos!

Hi all,

I realize this is an old thread, but hopeful someone may respond if I start it up again.  We're getting married in Wallingford in December, and I'd love to hear any suggestions for photograph locations.  We'd love to do something outdoors, but given that it's December we want to have an indoor backup plan.  We were thinking of Gouevia for an outdoor possibility, but we're struggling with finding something indoors.  Any guidance would be appreciated!  Thanks!
