DJ Recs?

Hey girls
So I thought I found a DJ but I waited 3 days after our initial consult to contact him and he only holds dates for 48 hours.  Apparently on that 3rd day he met with another couple and they booked him on the spot...what are chances?! Especially considering our date is a Friday! Oh well...
Anyways we are back to square one and would love some DJ recommedations! We are on a super tight budget but would like someone great! Any suggestions?

    Seconding DJae Melee. He's got great recommendations and was easy to work with, and not expensive at all.

    Not sure where in CT you live/your wedding is taking place - but if you're in lower Fairfield county I would highly recommend Big Apple Entertainment out of Larchmont NY. That's who we're going with for our wedding - we had an instant connection with Eric at Big Apple, and they're pretty affordable too!

    Just an FYI, I am not sure the date of your wedding but I am pretty sure Melee is fully booked for the 2012 but I could be wrong.  If you are considering him for 2012, I would contact him sooner rather than later.  He is awesome!  GL!

    Doesn't that always seem to be the luck!
    We are using Music in Motion....they are fantastic (we have been to 3 wedding that used them) and the prices are extremely reasonable!

    I agree with DJ Melee...however, he is most likely booked for all of 2012 depending on when your wedding is. We met with after hours and music machine in RI and loved them both, but Melee takes the cake. You will hear him recommended over and over here!

    My DJ was FANTASTIC! I couldn't find better prices and he went above and beyond in what he offered without jacking up the price, and most if all he was wonderful to work with (friendly, funny) Action DJ Entertainment John Caccioppo 203-488-2910 Good luck!

    Thanks ladies! DJ Melee is already booked... Afterhours DJ also does not have anyone available on my date :( I have consulatations scheduled with Adam Rivers, and Butch Gray...does anyone have any experience with either of them?

    I am having my wedding in October 2012. My friend and I went to meet DJ Jason Palermo aka DJ Melee. 
    I practically was handing him my credit card after 30 minutes of meeting him. He is exactly what I want, he is not going to talk the entire night and try to sell himself to my guest. He is all about the bride and groom. He will play exactly what you want and guide you in the right direction. My friend booked him a week later after meeting with a few other DJ's. She said the others were all about themselves and he really was not. I am so excited and cannot wait to hear what he is going to do for my wedding. My only request was that no one would be sitting down.

    Def VIP Events, DJ Ryan. He did my friends and her sisters wedding. He is very personable and fun and interacts as much as you want him to. He had a lot of music that was great for all age groups so everyone was dancing the whole night!  www.vipeventsllc.com
