New year resolution...

So ladies....what are yours?

I never stick with mine, but 3 years ago now I made the resolution to join weight watchers and loose weight, and here I am 40 lbs lighter...

I have several small ones:
- take a vitamin every day
- Rejoin weight watchers to jump start my final push before the big day
- Drink more water

Go back to the gym that I joined just before the holidays. =)  That and making sure I keep up my motivation for applying for fulltime jobs.
  • Rswan - I'm on WW too and I also lost 40 lbs, after I joined 3 years ago in September!

    - I let about 20 lbs creep back on :/ in the past two years. I've lost 12 of the 20 this fall/winter so my goal is to lose the last 8-10!
    - Actually go to the gym - I'm paying for it every month!
    - Remember to take my vitamins, esp on the weekends.
    - Save, save, save - be smarter with my $ and budget, especially since we are looking to put an offer in on a house by March!

*Save $$$- there are a lot of deposits due soon

Good Luck & Happy New Year Everyone :)

I'm with you on all of the above. I let 10 pounds creep back on and am back on WW and it's SO HARD to get it off. I'm not sure what to do! I guess I have to move more!

    * take vitamins to make my hair grow longer
    * work more to make money cause we want to try to buy a condo/house

  • Looks like I'm in the same boat as everyone else!
-back to the gym for the final push before the wedding
-be better about taking vitamins esp calcium
-remember the wedding is one day out of the rest of our lives and not to stress about every little detail!

    good luck ladies!
  • FI and I are trying to do a lifestyle change and "eat clean" most of the time.  Less processed food, eliminate fast food, less sugar and alcohol, and more whole grains fruits veggies etc.

I'd also like to go to the gym I'm donating to every month for the past year.

and my last goal is to do what makes me happy and stop worrying so much about other people's opinions or criticisms.
    8/12 March Siggy- reception venue!

  • same boat as most of you--

-Work out (if not at the gym, then at least at home almost every day). I'd love to lose 10 pounds and tone up my stomach/arms!
-Eat better. Less fat, more fruits/veggies/fish etc
    -Start taking vitamins again
-Find time to do things that I enjoy, and focus on what's really important
    -Stress less

  • I like Junebug's first one...except that I'd replace the 'pepsi' with coke.
So, my new year's resolution is:
Replace coke with water and milk

  • Wow, we really are all in the same boat, probably with the rest of the US too! I'd love to hear any success stories- I've only ever actually kept one new years resolution..
  • I just joined WW as well!!! I'm happy to hear some success stories. :)

If anyone wants a friend on WW, seeing as I'm new to it, PM me ;) I could use the support!
