Groomsmen Boutonnieres

So I know this is a small detail, but I can't decide and need opinions from you ladies!- I'm trying to decide what color rose to use for the groomsmen's boutonnieres. The options are lavender or white.

The bridesmaids will be wearing lavender dresses. The bouquets will be a mix of light blue hydrangea with lavender and white roses.

FI's boutonniere will be a white rose with a single stephanotis.

So... Which would you pick?...

i chose lavender to make them different from the groom.  what color vests/ties/cumberbunds are they doing?

I didn't vote because DH and I didn't like boutonnieres and know most of the guys wouldn't want little flowers. so we saved our money there and just had the guys wear pocket squares that matched their vest and tie. Have you thought of that as an option?

However, I think if you're going to choose between those 2 colors, that the groom should wear white and his GM's should wear the lavender so that they're different as the groom.

I picked the lavender since I agreed with PP that the groom's should be different from groomsmen.

Ditto SummerKutie, H had a flower but the guys wore pocket squares that matched their vest. No one even noticed.

Thanks for the help ladies! I think we'll go with the lavender since I definitely want FI to stand out.

And thanks for the pocket square suggestions- if we end up having to cut back our budget later that might be where we do it
