Cascades

Hey everyone! I went to my first bridal show today at cascades and fell in love! Just wanted to hear other experience from other brides who got married there. I really think this is the one and they are giving me a good deal for a weekday wedding and for attending the show.

Re: Cascades

  • I got married there in May and definitely recommend it! Everyone at Cascade was wonderful to work with during the entire planning process. The ballroom and grounds are beautiful, and we've heard nothing but great things from our guests about the ambience and food. Cascade really went above and beyond: They met with us after normal hours several times when the only time we could make it was after work. They also threw in some extra Portuguese appetizers when they found out the majority of our guests were Portuguese. They were constantly making sure we had everything we needed the night of our wedding. We loved Cascade and it's definitely the best decision we made for our wedding.

  • I was there too :) It's my venue as well - I've only had great experiences with Domenic and how could you not love those chandeliers??

  • Cascades is beautiful and is on my list of possibilities. The only thing I've heard that was negative was the parking lot was really small and can't accommodate many people, so you're stuck parking on Sherman Ave. That wouldn't be a show stopper for me, but would be crazy if you had 150 guests! I didn't make it to the bridal show....how was parking? If there were a lot of people you can judge by that.

I had 160 guests and parking wasn't an issue at all.  Maybe for very large weddings it would be, but Sherman Ave. isn't very busy so I didn't think it was a huge deal if guests did have to park on the road.

  • Check my review in my married bio! Nothing but great things to say about them! Domenic & Rosa were phenomenial to work with!!

We had close to 300 guests and parking was not an issue. They offered valet so people were pleased with that.

Any other questions let me know! Loved Cascades!

  • I'm getting married at Cascade.  They have been so wonderful to work with.  I live out of state and they are easy to get a hold of.  Domenic is so honest and helpful.  We decided against cake and to have apple crisp instead.   He was willing to adjust there price and help us with our apple crisp idea.

I have been to a wedding there and it was easy to park.  Also, the hotels (Clarion and Holiday Inn) will shuttle your guests so that should cut down on parking.

I so excited to get married there.  I can't say enough about how easy it is to work with them.
  • Wow, I didn't realize Holiday Inn will shuttle guests. That is extremely helpful to know that. Thanks for the tips!

  • Has anyone received 2012 or 2013 package pricing that they can share. I see their bigger packages include A LOT! But no price listed. Is it worth it to have it all included? Or have you found better pricing by breaking it all out? Very interested in this place.
