Suggestions for Venues

Hello fellow brides!  I've been living in Stamford for about a year now, so I'm not entirely familiar with all the venues out there.  I'm looking for something where I can have the ceremony on site, great food, and not pay a fortune!  Any suggestions welcome.  Thanks!!

Jlp9382, I don't know anything about Gabriele's, but based solely upon this post I'd stay away from them. Vendors are NOT allowed on these boards, and any venue that can't follow that simple rule would make me nervous. 

There are LOTS of great venues in CT, though! Are you looking to stay in the Stamford area? What feel are you going for? There are banquet halls, barns, aquariums, parks, mansions and more to choose from. Narrowing down the list can make things a lot easier.
