Finally Booked...now what?

I feel that I can breathe again seeing that we finally booked a place...YAY!  Decided to go with The Pavilion on Crystal Lake, very eco-friendly which is what we were looking for...anybody booked there? Would love some feedback! I think Im going with Studio1923 as my photographer...not sure if we should get a videographer, but have a feeling if I dont, I'll definitely regret it...some things just cant be captured by photos.

Seeing that Im not a planner and was hoping to elope (which is out of the question now...LOL)...was hoping that I could get some feedback as to what my next priority should be...DJ? We're having a big Italian-Portuguese wedding and would really like a DJ that could play a little bit of everything...any suggestions? As always, thanks for everyone's responses & Congratulation to everyone :-)

Congrats on booking!!! We are getting married at their sister site, The Barns at Wesleyan Hills next May ) So far everyone from the CT Wedding Group has been great to work with. When is your date???

Our next focus was photographer, then DJ, now we're looking at florists. We're tackling one thing at a time.

There have been a lot of posts about DJs the last few days, so I'd look down a little on the page to check those out )

I agree with Tashala as far as your next to-do's. I just checked for you- on the top of the second page, there's a post about Italian American DJs and Megbrooks recommended: 

LMX Entertainment.  Frank Zappulla.  He's bilingual and does Italian weddings all the time.

He actually did my FBIL/FSIL wedding...and the groom is 100% Sicilian and the bride is 100% Portuguese.

Personally, our order of getting things booked was: venues, photographer, florist, make-up/hair,  music.    Depending on when your date is you may want to tackle music before florist. I knew which florist I wanted to use and wanted to get her before anyone else did!

I think most people book the photographer and the DJ first to get that set and then check out the florist and everything else...we have looked and met with a few, but havent made our decision yet...Good luck with the planning
