Budget JOP?

Hi there!

I've been trying to find a JOP that isn't too expensive. I was under the impression a JOP would cost me about $200  - I am looking for a simple, non-customized, ceremony. However, I contacted a few popular names that I found on the knot (mary pugh, cheryl johnson) and their ceremony charge alone is 300 or more. And rehearsal is additional 150-200. Thats about 500! Double my budget

Do you have any suggestions on more budget friendly JoPs? Is this pricing typical for 2013-2014? Really bummed..

Karen Mowad is our JP and her rate is well under ur price 125...we met her and loved her ideas, we want a short ceremony but our parents are use to long Catholic ceremonies so she gave us a few ideas to involve our daughter and personalize our ceremony.. she will also do the rehearsal at no additional cost....let me know if u need her info, I can get it when I get home... good luck! and don't get bummed :

We are using Sal Fiore.  More than $200, but still very reasonably priced.
