Good morning ladies...my wedding colors are purple and silver..what color tux should the groom wear...groosmen?

My groom wore a black tux w/ an ivory vest (my dress was ivory). The GM wore gold/yellow, my BM terra cotta orange. Our colors were yellow and orange.

It's up to you.  I'm a fan of classic / neutral colors.

What about basic black for everyone (it never goes out of style and IMO looks the best) a black or white vest/tie combo for the groom and silver vests/ties for the GM?

I'm with banana, I like the classic/neutral colors. You could always have purple pocket squares for the groom and groomsmen.

My girls are wearing navy blue so I had some difficulty figuring out if I liked navy under black. Turns out I do! I'm having the groosmen match the girls, FI is a large guy and white makes him look twice his size, so we decided FI would wear a navy vest and an ivory tie to match me. Fathers are wearing Silver.

Our groomsmen wore charcoal gray suits and our girls had a marine blue dress. I didn't like the black tux/blue dress color scheme, but some people do. It's really all about your tastes and what you like.

If you go with black tuxes, I would do a silver tie or vest. If you go with a gray tux, I would do a purple vest or tie.
