Shorehaven Golf Club - Reviews??

Hello,

We are still on the hunt for a venue...Does anyone have any reviews on the Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk?  Their website doesn't provide a whole lot of information, but I have emailed with them and am willing to go see the place.

Any help would be awesome!

They are great to work with and the venue is BEAUTIFUL!!

I haven't been there recently but a friend got married their and she had nothing but positive things to say!

It is a private golf club so you DO need to have a member sponsor in order to host your event there. The member does not have to pay anything, but they do have to sign a piece of paper saying that they are responsible should you default on payment. They are also in their off season right now (the club closes in january and febraury) so you might have a little bit of a tougher time getting in touch with people and seeing the property until they open the first week of March. I would email either Antonio Stella or the GM Erik Horwedel.

That being said, it is an absolutely gorgeous venue. Cocktail hour on the front terrace OR in the Grille room (depending on the time of year) is just lovely. The ballroom has beautiful chandeliers and the decor is variations on beige which means there are no ugly colors to compete with your wedding colors.

I am currently looking into the Shore haven for my 2013 wedding.  Do you know about how many people the venue can fit?
